Your Minister and his team
I am the Minister for the Environment and Climate Change and the Minister for Innovation in the Victorian Labor Government. My ministerial staff assist me in the development and implementation of the Government’s policies to protect the natural environment, tackle climate change and to support the development of innovative new skills and technology.
My Chief of Staff, Steve Dawson assists me with high-level policy development and overall strategy.
My environmental advisors, Prue Stewart and Brooke Colbert, report back to me on developments within Government environmental agencies and provide advice in the areas of public land, biodiversity, forests, fire prevention, parks and coasts.
Chris McDermott, my advisor on innovation and energy policy, keeps me up to date on new technologies and innovative projects happening across the State and provides advice on innovation strategies.
Sarah Broadbent, my climate change and sustainability advisor, provides overall advice on strategies to tackle climate change and improve liveability for households and neighbourhoods, and to deal with waste.
Lisa Calabria, my caucus liaison, is responsible for keeping the rest of the Government informed about policies and programs within my portfolios.
Lyall Johnson, my media advisor, advises me how I can communicate Government policies through the media.
Rachel Marchbank and Erin Bromfield liaise with the Department of Sustainability and Environment and the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development respectively.
Harri Sidiropoulos is my PA, whilst Mark Baker and Zoe Milicic assist with organisation and administration of the office.
